Cherry Glazerr — 03/16

Kicking off the evening with an electrifying and infectious energy, Pittsburgh-based indie noise rock sensation, Ex Pilots, set the stage on fire. The name "Ex Pilots" was born from their shared background of leaving pilot school before completion. The bond between band members was evident in their stage presence and synchronicity in sound. Transitioning effortlessly between tracks, they maintained an energetic and fluid momentum throughout their set. Despite having five instruments playing, their sound remained crisp and balanced, leaving a lasting impression that earned them a spot on my personal playlist.

The audience erupted in cheers as the lights dimmed and the spotlight cast its glow upon the stage for Cherry Glazerr. From the moment the music began, the floor pulsated with the infectious rhythm, drawing everyone into its sway. Cherry Glazerr graced the stage with an enchanting and mesmerizing aura and her magnetic stage presence held the crowd transfixed, making it nearly impossible to look away. The interplay of lights, enhanced by a projector, painted a vivid tapestry of colors and visuals that complemented the performance beautifully.

With a powerhouse drummer driving the beat and deep, groovy basslines, the urge to dance was irresistible. Cherry Glazerr delivered a one-of-a-kind and exhilarating experience, seamlessly blending sensuality and energy. Without a doubt, I would eagerly attend her show again.
